How to enter Recovery Mode in Galaxy Tab 2 10.1”
- At first you need to power off your Galaxy Tab 2.
- Wait for the vibration that is the indication of total shutdown of the device.
- Now you need to press the Power button with the volume up button together for a few seconds until your tablet turns on and then release.
- Congratulations your tablet is now entered in its recovery mode.
How to Hard Reset your
Galaxy Tab 10.1”
As now your
Galaxy tab 2 is in recovery mode, you can access all the function mentioned
above.
Hard
Resetting your device is one of them, for it you will have to follow the
following steps:
- While in the recovery mode select the wipe data/ factory reset option by scrolling down with vol. down key.
- Now press the power button to execute the command.
- After pressing the power button it will take you in a new menu where you’ll need to select Yes—Delete all user data by scrolling with vol. down key.
- Press the power button again to confirm.
- After it has completed the prompt select the Reboot System Now option to turn on your Galaxy Tab 2 fully reset.
(Again make
sure of backing up your data as mentioned above but in the hard reset case it
is strongly recommended).
How to go to download or ODIN mode
- While your Galaxy tab 2 is turned off press the Power button + Volume down button.
- Press for 5-10sec until you see a Odin window which will ask you to go to the download mode or restart the device.
- Press vol. up key to go to the download mode.
- Press vol. down key to restart your Galay Tab 2 10.1”.
